Former Chairperson (2023-2025)
Seynabou Ndiaye Diakhate, from the Republic of Senegal served as the Chairperson of the AUABC from March 2023 to June 2025. This was after her re-election to serve her second and last term as a Board Member. She had served as the vice-chairperson of the Board in her first term of office. Previously she served as the Chairperson of National Office for the Fight against Corruption (OFNAC), Counselor at the Supreme Court of Senegal, First Advocate general at the WAEMU Court of Justice (Ouagadougou), Dean of Investigating judges at the Dakar regional court, Public prosecutor near the regional court of Thiès, Deputy Prosecutor Regional Court of Dakar, among others. Her areas of professional interests include; Criminal law, juvenile justice, migration law, and community law.
