AUCPCC advocacy mission to the Kingdom of Eswatini

The African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption is conducting an advocacy mission to the Kingdom of Eswatini from 31st October to 4th November 2022, with a purpose of lobbying for support for ratification of the  African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption from different structures in the Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Eswatini signed the Convention on 7th December 2004, but has not acceded and ratified yet.

During the advocacy mission, the Board will meet with Prime Minister, Minister of Justice, Director of Public Prosecution, Anticorruption Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Home Affairs, The Parliament, Civil Society and Media, among other entities.

The African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption welcomes the cooperation and commitment of the Kingdom of Eswatini and looks forward to continued collaboration with the government and people of the Eswatini in the fight and combatting corruption.
