Board Member - Hon. Tarek
Tarek Mustafa is a director of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Tripoli branch. He has previously worked as General Director of the General department for Evaluating the Performance of Companies and Banks at the Audit Bureau. Likewise, a Director of the Office of Plans and Quality Assurance at the Libyan Audit Bureau. Chairman of the Committee for Preparing the Strategic Plan of the Libyan Audit from 2018 to January 2021.
He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting, and numerous scientific and technical courses such as Participation in the scientific forum organized by the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, in cooperation with the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, Tunisia, March 2018 as well as certificate in the field of international standards for financial reporting at the Arab Academy for Banking Sciences in the Kingdom of Jordan for 50, May 2006.
Tarek also holds several memberships such as Member of the Strategic Plan Committee for the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions 2018 to 2022. Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Financial audit issued by the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions and Member of the Higher Training Committee at the Libyan Audit Bureau from October 2018 to January 2021.
Over the course of his career Tarek has made a number of scholarly contributions, including peer-reviewed publications such as “The implications of the Corona epidemic on the reports of the financial audit for International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) published in May 2020, and Participation with a working paper during the technical symposium organized during the thirteenth session of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions Qatar, November 2019.
