Board Member - Hon. Edem
Mr. Kwami Edem Senanu, from the Republic of Ghana was elected to the Board for the first time during the 42th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is currently the Co-Chair, Citizens Movement Against Corruption and the Executive Director of Africa 2000 Network Ghana. Previously, he has served in various dockets including; National Project Coordinator – UNDP/Africa 2000 Network - Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Project, Consultant in MEL Consulting Ltd, Production Manager for Divine Seafoods Ltd, Production Supervisor in Ghana Agro Food Company, as well as Senior Research Assistant in Department of Food Sc., University of Ghana.
Mr. Senanu is well-versed in the matters of good governance and fight against corruption as his interests mostly revolve around good governance and anti-corruption, decentralization, participation, Citizen Government engagement and social accountability, public policy advocacy, strategic planning, business management and development, entrepreneurship, microfinance systems, monitoring and evaluation, local economic development, community development and sustainable Livelihoods.
He has Masters in Development Management (MDM) from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is married with two children.
