Theme: Accelerate Action: African Women Leading the Fight Against Corruption and Promoting Human Dignity.

Background

Corruption remains one of the greatest obstacles to development, governance, and social justice. While it affects entire societies, women often experience corruption in distinct and disproportionately harmful ways, including sexual corruption, bribery for access to services, and workplace exploitation. Despite these challenges, women across the continent have been striving to be at the forefront of challenging corrupt practices, promoting transparency, and advocating for accountability.
