Hon. Abeba Embiale Mengste
Hon. Abeba Embiale Mengste is an elected Board Member of the AUABC from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia representing the Eastern Region. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia, while also holding key leadership roles as Deputy Chair of both the Judicial Administration Commission and the Council of Constitutional Inquiry.
With a distinguished career in the Ethiopian judiciary, she has served as a judge at multiple levels of the federal court system, including the Federal Supreme Court, Federal High Court, and Federal First Instance Court, as well as at the regional High Court level. Prior to her judicial appointments, she contributed to Ethiopia’s legal system as a Public Prosecutor at the Ethiopian Anti-Corruption Commission.
