The African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption presents its compliments to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for its accession to the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption.
Mauritania deposited its instrument of ratification on 8th July 2022, after having been acceded on 16th June 2022.
It is now the 48th Country to ratify the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combatting Corruption.
The African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption welcomes this new development and looks forward to continued collaboration with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the fight and combatting corruption.
The Board calls upon the remaining Seven (7) African Union Member States that are yet to ratify the AUCPCC to do so.
