AU Participates in the 3rd ACWG Ministerial Meeting
The Africa Union (AU), through the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC), has participated in the 3rd Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) Ministerial Meeting held on 30th October 2025 in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
On this historic milestone, when an African Country has held the G20 Presidency for the first time, the AUABC Chairperson, Hon. Kwami Edem Senanu, reiterated the strong support of the African Union to the G20 Presidency of South Africa and to the continued initiatives of the group.

Speaking during the intervention session by G20 members, Hon. Senanu recalled and acknowledged the tremendous work that the ACWG, under the South African G20 Presidency and co-chairmanship of Brazil has achieved and expressed the desire that the different deliverables from the ACWG would be widely disseminated to shape anti-corruption efforts across the globe including the AU’s broader developmental agenda as enshrined in Agenda 2063 and the UN’s Agenda 2030.

The AU Delegation to the 3rd ACWG meeting consisted of Hon. Senanu as Head of Delegation and the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Charity Hanene-Nchimunya. Prior to the Ministerial Meeting, Mrs. Nchimunya was accompanied to the Technical Meeting by Ms. Darsheenee Singh Raumnauth, from the Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security, and services the AU Task Force on Anti-Corruption as the ACWG Delegate Accreditation Officer.
