Demise of AUABC Board Member - HON. NG’ANDU

The African Union Advisory Board on Corruption has learnt with great sadness, the news of the death of one of it's Board Members,  Hon Agness Kayobo Ng'andu who passed away on December 21st, 2021 and wishes to express the great loss of a distinguished leader and a great crusader in the fight against corruption. Hon. Ng'andu was/had been a member of the Board since February 2019 until her death. She was serving her second and final term on the Board after having been elected and appointed by the African Union Executive Council in its' 38th Ordinary Session in February this year.

Hon. Ng'andu will be long remembered for the role she played in the evolution and transformation of our continental body, the African Union, her work with the Advisory Board on Corruption and her work in Zambia as a leading warrior against corruption.

The African Union Commission and the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption, extends their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends as well as the Government and people of Zambia.
